IMG_0113.jpeg

X-15 Class is the world’s first one-design wing racing equipment. Developed to emphasise equal opportunity for all participants, the X-15 Class is a new wave in the wingfoil racing world.

During the Scottish Fin and Foil Event in Stranraer Scotland, adults and under 19’s are invited to attend a 7 day event; 2 days of top level coaching followed by 5 days of racing. The coaching will be split into two groups one coached by Alex Lyddon and the other by Rafferty Read.

  • The cost of the coaching is £tbc per day or £tbc for both days

  • X-15 equipment can be charted for £50 for the event with a £200 damage deposit.

  • The race entry fee is £140 for five days of racing; a three day option is also available

Wingfoilers do not need to have prior wingfoil race experience but should have a minimum wingfoil level with the ability to maintain foil control, sail upwind and be starting to complete transitions. The X15 class is new and we aim to get as many adult & junior and youth sailors involved as we can.
