X-15 Class is the world’s first one-design wing racing equipment. Developed to emphasise equal opportunity for all participants, the X-15 Class is a new wave in the wingfoil racing world.

During the Scottish Fin and Foil Event in Stranraer Scotland, under 19’s are invited to attend a 5 day event; 2 days of top level coaching followed by 3 days of racing. The entry cost is £100 to enter the race event, coaching and X-15 equipment will be provided for free courtesy of Starboard.

Wingfoilers do not need to have prior wingfoil race experience but should have a minimum wingfoil level with the ability to maintain foil control, sail upwind and be starting to complete transitions. If you don’t quite meet this level, contact Scottish Fin and Foil, as we may be able to put some extra coaching on for you. The X15 class is new and we aim to get as many junior and youth sailors involved as we can.
